Fenix Studios opened its doors in 1999, founded by father and son Bill & Tony Hanson. What began as a rehearsal and recording studio in a fragile era — tape dying out, digital audio taking hold — has grown into a 10,000 square foot facility on Staten Island's South Shore.

A dedicated rehearsal room with a PDP drum kit and a full stacked backline — Marshall, Ampeg, Hartke, Randall, and Line 6. Purple-walled and acoustically treated, built for bands to plug in and play.
Studio B
A performance-ready live stage with a raised platform, full backline, and floor monitors. Moody blue-lit and phoenix-branded — built for live rehearsal, showcases, and intimate performances.

The flagship tracking room with a Yamaha C7 grand piano, full drum kit, and amp backline. Wood-paneled and acoustically tuned — and spacious enough to double as a full-band rehearsal room.

Our flagship control room — a 72-channel SSL J Series console at the center, a wide assortment of professional mics, and outboard gear and amps to match. Magenta-lit, acoustically treated, and built for tracking, mixing, and mastering at a professional standard.
